About Geography Matters Geography
Matters is a diverse home-based company owned and operated by Josh and Cindy
Wiggers. We create, write, publish, laminate, and distribute a dozen books,
18 map titles, and 15 CD-ROMS. Our wholesale customers include storefront
businesses, catalogers, and many online stores. In addition we reach the
end user through contacts from a print catalog, website, and convention
exhibits. Geography Matters' flagship product is the Mark-It Outline Maps. We began in 1989 with a few geography items and 2 Mark-It Map titles.  Since
then we have added 16 more titles and a number of map sets, written and
published geography curriculum guides, provide a number of items in eBook
format, and designed an award winning reproducible outline map book
(and CD-ROM). We continue to add more titles - both ones written by us and
those by other authors. Our goal is to lend a hand to parents and teachers
at "helping children develop a delight for learning", therefore
the products we produce and recommend are those which keep that focus in
mind.
You can see our materials first hand in the exhibit hall at a variety of homeschool conventions we attend each year. In addition most of materials published by Geography Matters are available across the country through local Christian book stores. Watch for "Homeschool Headquarters" signage. If they don't have in stock the titles you are interested in, many stores will special order for you. Of course you can always order securely from our online store here at
